Live at the Gantries, a series of free, outdoor performances featuring a collection of Queens-based musicians as diverse as the borough is coming back to LIC for the 7th consecutive year.
Performances are scheduled on Tuesdays at 7 pm, until August 12.
This year’s line-up includes:

July 1: Nostalgic – R & B
July 8: Mundo Clave — Latin/Cuban music
July 15: Solomon Hicks — Blues Guitarist
July 22: Dahka Band — Global music
July 29: Kevin Batchelor’s Grand Concourse — Reggae/Ska musica
August 5: And You and I — Rock music
August 12: Zikrayat — Arabic music
Since its inception, Live at the Gantries has brought visitors from all boroughs to LIC.
The series is presented by the Kupferberg Center, The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and Queens Theatre, and sponsored by local businesses and government.
