Hunters Point Parks Conservancy is excited to bring a live music series to Hunters Point Park South on Fridays in September.
September 4 – Mariachi Flor de Toloache, the first and only all-female Mariachi band founded in New York in 2008.
September 11 – Regina Bonelli Blues Band will perform. The band was in last month’s edition of in Big City Rhythm & Blues magazine and received the following rave review, “Ms. Bonelli has a knockout voice, presence and songs, ripping piano playing, heartfelt soul and pure attitude.”
September 18 – 2/3 Goat, an Astoria-based band led by the husband-and-wife team of Annalyse McCoy and Ryan Dunn bring a hybrid of alt-country, bluesy bluegrass and classic rock to the LIC waterfront.
September 25 – Matthew Kiss plays a hybrid of rock/blues and soul.
Nest Seekers, Foodcellar and KitchenPlusMore are proud to lend their support to this music series to give back to the community they helped form, with the continuing goal of enhancing the neighborhoods where they do business.
